Lucan United Football club was established in 1969 and has serviced the local community on a volunteer basis for 46 years. We now have (28) School Boy teams, (9) Girls teams, (4) Senior Teams and an Academy for 4, 5, & 6 year olds with over 80 members. With a continued expected growth rate of 2 new teams a season the club has a very bright future. Recently our schoolboy players have started to represent their country with 8 gaining International caps. This is a great time for Lucan United Football Club.
Due to Sponsorship and Fundraising the club has been able to continue to grow during the down turn in the economy. However the expenses for the club every year is growing and becoming difficult to meet. We would ask for your help through Sponsorship towards the running of the club. This is vital to the clubs survival as cost of supplying structured football with qualified coaches continues to grow every year due to rising insurance, equipment and clubhouse utility cost. The club would be interested in any level of sponsorship you can give no matter how small or big.
All sponsors will be recognised in the local papers and the Lucan United website/facebook page/ twitter on a regular basis. Coverage from the local papers at our games is significant for any body wishing to supply kits or hoardings.
