HI All,
I hope you are all doing well. We are delighted to see so many different clubs and organisations using Airlie Park over the recent weeks.
We want to share some reminders and updates with you all:
- All teams and clubs are reminded to only use the pitch during their allocated times, unless you have a pitch sharing arrangement in place you are not to enter the pitch before your timeslot begins (on the hour) and are not permitted to stay on the pitch with another team once your allocated time slot has passed, regardless of if they are utilizing the entire pitch or not. It is the responsibility of all coaches to ensure their team is off the pitch before they leave. Complaints of this kind are being monitored and repeat offenders will be at risk of losing their access to Airlie Park.
- Just a reminder that should you need a changing room for weekend and first come first served bookings they must be booked via SportsKey. You are not automatically allocated a changing room with your pitch booking.
- We have left a set of 4 corner soccer flags and weighted stands in both changing room 1 and 2 for your use. We ask that you return these to the dressing room after use and do not leave them on the pitch.
- Please ensure you remove all rubbish from the pitch and changing room before you leave.
- With regards cancellations, you can do this via Sportskey in the “Your Bookings” tab, you do not need to contact Public Realm to make a cancellation. Cancellations made outside the 48-hour window are not subject to payment / will be refunded if already paid.
We know that most of the local clubs have a great working relationships with each other but we would appreciate if you could report any issues with pitch usage or rubbish to us by email when they occur so that we can ensure we are providing a safe and clean pitch and pavilion for all users.
As always, if you have any issues or feedback to share, please do not hesitate to reach out.
We hope you have been enjoying the new artificial grass pitch at Airlie Park. We are delighted to see so many teams making use of this state-of-the-art facility. Please see below for updates and information about Airlie Park.
Access Issues / Contact Number
We now have our Out of Hours service up and running, if you have any issues with access or lighting in the evenings, please contact 01-4574907 for assistance. Please disregard any other contact numbers you may have been using to date. New signage with this phone number will be displayed on the pitch in due course.
Anti-Social Behaviour
We are aware that there are group of children pushing their way onto the pitch after training sessions and requesting the code for gate. SDCC do not expect you to try to deal with this issue as we are working on ways to handle it. We ask that you do not give your gate code to anyone outside your club and we ask you to ensure all your club members exit the pitch safely at the end of your scheduled session and that you close the gate. If you feel safe to do so, please notify those on the pitch the gate will be closing, and that the lights will turn off. SDCC under no circumstances want any member of any club to try to intervene or block access. Feel free to report any occurrences of illegal entry to the pitch to us via email.
Rubbish
We have been notified that bottles and rubbish are being left in the changing rooms and on the pitch, as per the Terms & Conditions please ensure your teams take all belongings with them after use to keep the facilities clean for the next group.
Bookings & Changing Rooms
Please note, same day bookings should be made before 4.30pm to ensure a member of the Public Realm Team can approve them before close of business. Just a reminder, when you are making a booking via SportsKey, don’t forget to book a changing room. Your code will not work on the changing room unless it has been booked on the system.
December 2023
Please be sure you have given 2 access codes to the guys & girls onsite, 1 for the pitch and 1 for the changing room as well as the changing room number (1/2/3/4).
Please note, your access codes will not work until the time of your booking so if you are due on the pitch at 7pm your code will not work until 7pm sharp.
